La vita è bella (Life is Beautiful), is one of my all time favorite films. مدينة لوس انجلوس è بيلا فيتا (الحياة جميلة) ، هو واحد من بلدي الوقت المفضل لجميع الأفلام. I first saw it in 1998 after it won three academy awards. أود أولا أن رأت فيها في عام 1998 بعدما فاز ثلاث جوائز اكاديميه. It left such an impression on me that I think back to it quite often, especially when facing difficult times in my life. وغادرت هذا الانطباع عن لي ان أعود بذاكرتي الى انه في كثير من الأحيان ، لا سيما عندما يواجه أوقات صعبة في حياتي.

In a time where listening to the news offers little hope of peace on this planet, like minded people will be gathering together in cities across the world to build a human peace sign that will literally light up the evening sky and radiate with love and compassion for all the world to see. في زمن يشهد الاستماع الى الاخبار عروض الامل ضئيل في السلام على هذا الكوكب ، مثل التفكير وسيتم جمع الناس معا في المدن في مختلف أنحاء العالم لبناء السلام ما يشير الى ان البشريه سوف حرفيا حتى المساء ضوء السماء وتشع بالمحبه والرحمه لل الى كافة أنحاء العالم ان يرى.

I have been meditating for several years now and find it to be an incredible source of peace and comfort. لقد meditating لعدة سنوات حتى الآن وجدوا انها لا تصدق ان تكون مصدرا للسلام وراحة. At first it was hard to stop my busy mind from wandering, but in time and with a little patience it does become easier. في البداية كان من الصعب لوقف بلادي مشغول اعتبارها من التجول ، ولكن في الوقت المناسب ومع قليل من الصبر وانها اصبحت اكثر سهولة.

I came across a site called EPIC (Education for Peace in Iraq Center) which is an organization working for the human rights and humanitarian conditions of the Iraqi people. جئت عبر موقع يسمى ملحمة (التربيه من اجل السلام فى العراق وسط) التي هي منظمة تعمل من اجل حقوق الانسان والاوضاع الانسانيه للشعب العراقي. Having family in Iraq, this cause is dear to my heart. وبعد ان أسره في العراق ، في هذه القضية هو عزيز على قلبي.

I came across an article at Conscious Choice the other day about a coffee co-op in Uganda called the Mirembe Kawomera cooperative. الأول جاء عبر مقال في اختيار واعية اخرى اليوم عن التعاونيه البن فى اوغندا يسمى mirembe kawomera التعاونيه. The name means Delicious Peace in the Luganda language. اسم وسيلة لذيذ Luganda السلام في اللغة.

In 1973 the rock band Three Dog Night released a song called Shambala. في عام 1973 فرقة الصخرة ليلة الافراج عن ثلاثة كلاب اغنية دعا shambala. I just heard it pop up again on an episode of the television series LOST. انا فقط سمعت من شاشة عرض مرة اخرى على حلقة من المسلسل التلفزيوني فقدت.
The lyrics to the song were written by American poet Daniel Moore who became a Sufi Muslim in 1970 and now goes by the name Abd al-Hayy Moore. الغناءيه الى الاغنية كتب الشاعر الاميركي دانيال مور اصبح من صوفية المسلمين في عام 1970 ويمر الآن اسم عبد الحي مور.
