the gift of sight
Jul 24th, 2007 by indigo-daisy
Was surfing over to Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore’s site on a quest for inspiration and was pleasantly surprised to find a video clip of a poetry reading.
The poem so eloquently read by him was called “Everyone is given their own set of Eyes”. As I sat and listened to the reading several times over, it quietly resonated within, for I have been always thankful for my sight and know full well what a precious gift it is, both the physical sight and what may not be completely physical.

Thank you so much for adding this video reading to your site (sight? Insight?) … I am adding your site to my blogroll, and am especially grateful to encounter the Baghdad Artist and her (?) wonderful paintings… A Blake-like light…
Daniel,
You are the inspiration behind the title of my blog, therefore I am most honored you added me to your blogroll. I mosey on over to your site quite a bit, especially when starting to teeter upon the abyss of darkness they call depression. Your words are soothing to the soul.
