Listening to your Higher Self Ascolto del Sé Superiore

Every now and then, I come across something that stirs my energy. Di tanto in tanto, mi venire attraverso qualcosa che suscita la mia energia. That is how I felt when I came across Che è come mi sentivo quando mi sono imbattuto in “The Drunken Soldier” by Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore, "Il Drunken Soldier" di Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore, one of my favorite modern day Sufi poets. uno dei miei preferiti moderni poeti sufi. I find his poetry so inspiring because it stimulates my senses. Trovo la sua poesia in modo ispiratore, perché stimola i miei sensi. I can see it, touch it and hear it. Sono in grado di vedere, toccare e sentire.
While reading this poem I could see it playing out before my eyes and feel the deep meaning beneath its surface. Durante la lettura di questa poesia ho potuto vedere la riproduzione di fuori davanti ai miei occhi e sentire il senso profondo sotto la superficie. In it I found comfort, reassurance and peace. In esso ho trovato conforto, rassicurazione e di pace. I reached across time and space and saw the eternal face of God. Ho raggiunto attraverso il tempo e lo spazio e ha visto l'eterno volto di Dio.
I wonder how often my soul has cried out for me to stop and listen, see, taste, smell or touch while I was too focused on living my life that I missed it. Mi chiedo quante volte la mia anima ha gridato per me e per fermare ascoltare, vedere, il gusto, l'olfatto o toccare mentre ero troppo concentrata a vivere la mia vita che ho perso. I think I need to slow down a little more, and pay attention to what is around me, lest I miss another treasure like this. Penso che ho bisogno di rallentare un po 'di più, e prestare attenzione a ciò che è intorno a me, perché mi manchi un altro tesoro come questo.

I’m so glad I dropped by today; that poem moved me to tears. Sono così contento ho lasciato cadere di oggi; che mi poesia di lacrime. Today I resolve to take some time out to meditate, do my readings and reflect on what is important….the housework can wait - nothing is more important than reclaiming my serenity. Oggi ho risolvere a prendere un po 'di tempo per meditare, le mie letture e riflettere su ciò che è importante…. It was a beautiful poem wasn’t it. E 'stata una bella poesia non è stato. I too need to let the mundane things wait, and make the time to appreciate the things I love in life. Anch'io ho bisogno di lasciare che il cose banali aspettare, e rendere il tempo di apprezzare le cose che amo nella vita. Sometimes I just get carried away with so many meaningless tasks.
