When I first walked past this movie in the video store I saw the pink cover with a dorky looking guy on the front and thought to myself "that looks like a really stupid move". Lorsque je suis passé à pied devant ce film au club vidéo, j'ai vu la couverture rose avec un gars dorky la recherche sur l'avant et me suis dit "qui ressemble à un déménagement vraiment stupide".

But then as I was looking through a review on another movie, I spotted the pink cover again with a note that said if I really liked the movie that I was currently reviewing I would probably like this one. Mais alors que je cherchais dans le cadre d'un examen sur un autre film, j'ai repéré la couverture rose avec une note qui dit que si j'ai vraiment aimé le film que j'étais en train de revoir Je voudrais probablement comme celui-ci.

So the next time I was at the video store I picked up the box, turned it over and started reading the synopsis. Donc la prochaine fois que j'étais au club vidéo, je repris la boîte, il s'est plus et commencé à lire le synopsis. It was about a guy that falls in love with a doll. Il s'agissait d'un mec qui tombe amoureux d'une poupée. Ok, now that just sounded plain weird to me, however it piqued my curiosity as to why it got such good reviews so I went ahead and rented it. Ok, maintenant que tout semblait clair bizarre pour moi, mais il piqué ma curiosité sur les raisons pour lesquelles il a obtenu de si bons commentaires alors je suis allé à venir et en location.

To my surprise, it was a very good movie and different than anything I have ever seen before. À ma grande surprise, il a été un très bon film et rien différente de celle que j'ai jamais vu auparavant.

It was a love story about a young man who could not allow anyone to emotionally get close to him or even touch him. Il a été une histoire d'amour d'un jeune homme qui ne peut laisser personne émotionnellement à se rapprocher de lui ou même le toucher. He lived alone with his brother and sister in-law in their garage and his sister in-law was beginning to suspect that something was really wrong with Lars because he was getting more and more seclusive and she could never get him to come over to spend time with them. Il a vécu seule avec son frère et une soeur en-droit dans leur garage et sa sœur en droit commence à soupçonner que quelque chose était vraiment mal avec Lars parce qu'il était de plus en plus seclusive et elle ne pourra jamais le faire venir à dépenser du temps avec eux.

Lars kept a job and went to work every day. Lars conservé un emploi et sont allés travailler tous les jours. He was a little quirky but seemed like an ordinary quirky kind of guy. Il a été un peu bizarres, mais semblait être un type ordinaire bizarres de Guy. That is until his co-worker started talking about this site that sells life sized dolls that were anatomically correct (vagina and all). C'est jusqu'à ce que son collègue commencé à parler de ce site qui vend des poupées de taille vie qui étaient anatomiquement correcte (vagin et tous). A couple scenes later this box shows up at his door, and there you go, Lars has a new girlfriend. The funniest scene in the whole movie was when Lars (who has all of a sudden come out of his shell) introduces his new girlfriend Bianca to his brother and sister in-law. La scène drôles dans l'ensemble du film est quand Lars (qui a tout d'un coup sortir de sa coquille) présente sa nouvelle amie Bianca à son frère et une soeur en-droit.

It turns out that this was not really a love story about Lars and the doll, or about Lars and a girl, it was simply a beautiful and touching love story about how his family and the people in his community loved him. Il s'avère que ce n'était pas vraiment une histoire d'amour sur Lars et la poupée, ou sur Lars et une fille, il était tout simplement une belle et touchante histoire d'amour sur la façon dont sa famille et le peuple dans sa communauté aimé.

It was laugh out loud funny, touching, and it really made you look at how you view people. Il a été rire à haute voix drôle, touchant, et il vous fait vraiment voir comment les gens que vous consultez. It also reinforced the fact that you can not judge a book (or a movie) by its cover. Il a également renforcé le fait que vous ne pouvez pas juger un livre (ou un film) à sa couverture.

I highly recommend this film if you are in the mood from a light, uplifting comedy that will cheer your soul. Je recommande vivement ce film si vous êtes dans l'ambiance d'une lumière, édifiante comédie qui réjouir votre âme.
