YouTube Screening Room

I have discovered the YouTube Screening room , a place where YouTube unveils short independent films from around the world.
Being a huge fan of international films and the indies, this was a welcome discovery for me. Every two weeks they will release four new films.
One of the films currently playing is "The Danish Poet" which won an Oscar in 2007 for Best Short Subject Animation.
"I met the Walrus" is based on an actual (1969) interview with John Lennon by a 14 year old fan. The animation is absolutely incredible and well worth the five minutes and fifteen seconds it will take to watch.
If you appreciate the arts and fresh talent, here is an opportunity to screen some quality short films from all over the world.

I’ll check those out. My kids and I recently watched “Idiocracy” on YouTube, divided into about ten sections to fit the 10-minute limit.
“The Danish Poet” was quite good, I also liked “the big empty”
It takes real talent to present a meaningful message in such a short period of time.
