bunny friends

The bunny rabbits are quite entertaining and we never get tired of watching them hop around to and fro.

No, it is actually white desert rock. Having grown up in Minnesota, I can see how the picture makes it look like snow on a dirt road.

I love watching the wild rabbits around our neighborhood, even if they do occasionally hide and munch in my flowerbeds/garden & startle me when they suddenly dart out.
I used to (operative phrase being USED TO) get up and take the dogs walking, one at a time, every morning at 5am. And for the longest time, each morning, as I made my rounds with Bootsy (she’s the one most likely to chase after small creatures), there was a rabbit that would meet us at the same spot each morning, then walk/hop a short distance with us up the street, before veering off… and oddly enough, that was the only rabbit Bootsy never tried to drag me up the street in an effort to chase! There was something special about that little rabbit.

Your bunnies are a lot cuter than our bunyips! They have very long ears, almost hare-like!

Thanks for sharing the memory Pita! I find it fascinating how our animal friends can tune into things like that!

I was having server trouble Anon, thanks for alerting me! I had to google bunyips and now I know that my bunnies are much better to be have around then your bunyips.
